Katie Driedger
Communications & Marketing Consultant, Philanthropist, & Dog Enthusiast
Since 2012, I have helped dozens of individuals, non-profits, and small, medium, and large-sized businesses improve their communications, marketing, and public affairs strategies. I have developed and executed end-to-end social media plans, digital advertising campaigns, media relations, corporate communications plans and policies (internal and external), re-branding campaigns, e-commerce integration, stakeholder engagement strategies, crisis communications, market research and analysis, SEO/SEM improvement, and branding and marketing audits. Additionally, I work with companies to strategize and implement corporate policies on issues related to public and government affairs.
Using cutting-edge analytics and research insights, I have executed business and marketing strategies that have consistently generated high returns on investments. I pride myself on bringing clients millions of dollars in direct value on a monthly and annual basis, exceeding client expectations and industry norms. This includes 20-25X ROAS for paid search and social campaigns and 6-figure sales conversions on direct-to-consumer and business-to-business email campaigns.
I have worked with clients of all sizes across various areas and industries, including technology, retail, real estate, travel and tourism, luxury goods, healthcare, cannabis, e-commerce, agriculture, finance, fintech, entertainment, engineering, floristry, environmental industries, clothing and apparel, and landscaping.
Some prominent clients include DoorDash, Sobeys Capital Inc, the Royal Bank of Canada, the Greater Toronto Airport Authority, Sleep Country Canada, Engel & Volkers, CIBC Wood Gundy, and RE/MAX.
Prior to working as a consultant, I was a journalist for eight years, working with some of the top media companies in North America, including CBC News, CBC Radio, CTV News, Esquire Magazine, Global News, Hoop Magazine, McLean’s, the National Post, NBA.com, the New York Times, Slam Magazine, and Winnipeg Free Press.
I studied political science at undergraduate and graduate levels at Brandon University and Carleton University, respectively, but my passions for creative work and business strategy pushed me to pursue marketing and public affairs professionally.
